Hello everyone!! My name is Kylan Wallis. A 19 year old sophomore in college studying aviation at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma! Boomer Sooner! I am happy to be here and excited to race with all of you!
Little bit about me!
I have always love anything with an engine and it first started with a little show called mighty machines. Growing up watching all of these fascinating machines, my love for cars grew. I played my first racing game at the age of 3 playing Forza Motorsport 3 and subsequently every game in the Forza franchise following that. Spending countless hours trying out new cars, and learning all about them. In the 5th grade I saved up enough money to buy my first racing wheel, a mere Logitech G920 to play Forza Horizon on and soon after buying my first ever “sim racing seat” in the form of a Playseat Evolution. Through COVID I rotted in that seat clocking over 4,000 hours in both Forza Motorsport and Horizon. I put sim racing down for a little bit through high school to work hard getting my private pilot’s license before heading off to college. Just this past year, I was happy to buy my first true sim racing rig comprised of a Fanatec CSW V2.5, Clubsport V3 Pedals, SQ V1.5 Shifter all bolted to a GTOmega ART Chassis with a COBRA Monaco Pro seat that I recently just installed last week. It has been a pain stuffing it in the little shoeboxes of apartments and dorm rooms for the past year but I love every minute of it. I have been getting into more serious sim games such as Assetto corsa/competizione, and iRacing. I am looking to tryout for my schools eSports team in the coming weeks to race Collegiate NASCAR that you may have seen scrolling through the main menus. Glad to be here everyone!
