Watkins Glen Track Problem 6 Months ago  
I downloaded the Watkins Glen track over at "The USPits". I installed it, but when I got into the game and tried to practice with it I got a error message and it wouldn't load.

The error message said "Could not load Watkins Glen.mas"

Help Please

Randy is having the same problem.. I still trying to figure out what the deal is. I dont remember if there was a update for that track or not i will check on it...

I've had that error with another track before. Don't remember the solution, but I'll research it and get back with you tomorrow.

Well, it's not tomorrow yet but try this. Check to see if there is another Watkins Glen track folder somewhere else in Windows. If you have two Watkins Glen track folders in different locations, the game will get confused. If that is the problem, you can thank Will. He suggested that to me when I had my track problem.

I checked. the only other place I had a Watkins Glen folder was in my VHR 09 mod. I deleted that folder and then re-installed the Watkins Glen track in its proper place just like before. I also double checked to see if I had 2 folders and I do not.

After re-installing I still got this pop up error message "gmotor 2 error" Error opening MAS file WATKINSGLEN.mas.

So, what now?

make sure you are not installing it in the USPITS folder, it just needs to go into the locations folder..
