The aim of this series is to gather in a Christian atmosphere and fellowship with our brothers (and sisters). Jesus First, Racing Second. Although we will be running for points, (except the modified mod), it is our hope that we will have some fun with this simulation and come away with a feeling of brotherhood. Hopefully we will also be able to witness to any newcomers by showing the advantages of living with Christ.

 

Race Format

 

Mod: Late Model (lmpv2) and Modified (whelen)

Setups: Fixed

Yellow Flags: Off

Tirewear: 1X

Weather: 70 Clear

Damage: Moderate

Race Length: 2-15 lap Heat races, 1-50 lap Feature race

 

8:30 PM EST-Server up for practice

8:55 PM EST-Invocation

9:00 PM EST-Qualifying

 

We will run two 15-race seasons for points with the Late Model mod and run the Modified mod on the last Thursday of each month just for fun (no points).

We will set the field for the heat races using qualifying times. The fastest times in head 1 and slowest in heat 2. No points awarded for heat races.

The starting field for the Feature race will be determined by a random qualify.

 

Race Procedure (Please read carefully)

 

This will be the procedure that we will follow each Thursday night to get everyone lined up for the heat races and the feature race.

 

Heat Races (double row starts)

 

1.      Everyone will qualify during the qual session and I will use the results to determine the starting grid for each heat race.

2.      After qualifying, I will reset to practice. (Do not get in your car until I call your number)

3.      As I call your number for the starting grid, go to your pit stall, drive to the backstretch and STOP after you have taken your position.

4.      The field will start pacing on my chat signal (POLESITTER START PACING) at 35 mph.

5.      The race will start on my chat signal (GREEN! GREEN! GREEN!)

6.      Race is over after the 15th lap is complete.

 

Feature Race

 

After the heat races are done, I will click on the race session to create a random qualify and then we will run the race like normal.
